Carolino Rice is a variety produced in Southern European countries. There are only 4 countries that produce this variety: Portugal, Spain, Greece, and Italy. It belongs to the Japonica species, which means it has a rounder grain of approximately 6mm in length. Due to its composition, it easily absorbs the seasonings used, being suitable for broth dishes.
